PRODUTOS COM CANABIDIOL PARA PACIENTES COM EPILEPSIA NO BRASIL: um enfoque bibliográfico
CANABIDIOL PRODUCTS FOR PATIENTS WITH EPILEPSY IN BRAZIL: A BIBLIOGRAPHIC APPROACH

Objetivos: Fazer levantamento dos produtos que possuem a substância ativa Canabidiol e são utilizados no tratamento da epilepsia no Brasil.
Métodos: Para isso, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico de artigos científicos publicados de 2014 a 2020 nos bancos de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, PubMed e Google Acadêmico. Para as buscas foram utilizados DeCS (Descritores em Ciências da Saúde), combinados pelo operador booleano “AND”.
Resultados: Após estabelecer os critérios de exclusão e inclusão foi analisado um total de 30 artigos, dos quais 17 apresentavam produtos com Canabidiol para o tratamento da epilepsia. Nesses artigos foram encontrados o Epidiolex e Real Scientific Hemp Oil (RSHO) CBD, sendo que nenhum consta na lista de fármacos ofertados pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).
Conclusão: Destacamos, portanto, a importância de mais pesquisas a
fim de ampliar o conhecimento dessa substância para identificar sua
janela terapêutica no mecanismo de ação no tratamento da epilepsia.
Objectives: To survey products that contain the active substance Cannabidiol and are used in the treatment of epilepsy in Brazil.
Methods: For this, a bibliographic survey of scientific articles published from 2014 to 2020 was carried out in the databases of the Virtual Health Library, PubMed and Google Scholar. For searches, DeCS (Health Sciences Descriptors) were used, combined by the Boolean operator “AND”.
Results: After establishing the exclusion and inclusion criteria, a total of 30 articles were analyzed, of which 17 presented products with Cannabidiol for the treatment of epilepsy. In these articles, Epidiolex and Real Scientific Hemp Oil (RSHO) CBD were found, none of which are on the list of drugs offered by the Unified Health System (SUS).
Conclusion: We emphasize, therefore, the importance of further
research in order to expand the knowledge of this substance to
identify its therapeutic window in the mechanism of action in the
treatment of epilepsy
