REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA SOBRE UTILIZAÇÃO A QUETIAPINA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE ESQUIZOFRENIA

Objetivo:
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo buscar informações sobre ação da
quetiapina no tratamento da esquizofrenia, suas vantagens em relação aos demais
tratamentos e seus efeitos colatarais e reaçãoes adversas mais importantes. Metodologia:
Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica do tipo integrativa, realizada por meio
de um levantamento de literatura. A coleta de dados acerca da temática desta
pesquisa foi através de um levantamento bilbiográgico na coleção da Biblioteca
Virtual em Saúde (BVS). O estudo foi realizado considerando artigos completos
referentes à pesquisa (Tratamento farmacológico da esquizofrenia com
quetiapina), idioma (português e inglês), tempo do artigo (artigos publicados
nos últimos 5 anos, 2015 a 2020). Resultados: Os estudos mostraram informações
mais novas a respeito das ações terapêuticas, vantagens e desvantagens do uso
da quetiapina no tratamento da esquizofrenia.
Considerações finais: A esquizofrenia é uma psicoenfermidade
complexa, cujo diagnóstico e tratamento exige uma extensa avaliação clínica e
acompanhamento permanete do paciente. O tratamento vai depender da reação de
cada indivíduo.
Objective:
This study aims to seek information on the action of quetiapine in the
treatment of schizophrenia, its advantages over other treatments and its side
effects and most important adverse reactions. Methodology: This is an
integrative literature review, carried out through a literature survey. The
collection of data on the theme of this research was through a bilbiogragic
survey in the collection of the Virtual Health Library (VHL). The study was
conducted considering complete articles related to the research
(Pharmacological treatment of schizophrenia with quetiapine), language
(Portuguese and English), time of the article (articles published in the last 5
years, 2015 to 2020). Results: Studies have shown newer information
regarding therapeutic actions, advantages and disadvantages of using quetiapine
in the treatment of schizophrenia. Final considerations: Schizophrenia
is a complex psychoenfermity, the diagnosis and treatment of which requires
extensive clinical evaluation and permanent monitoring of the patient.
Treatment will depend on the reaction of each individual.
