OBJETIVO: Analisar através de uma Revisão de Literatura
como a população está tendo acesso ao Programa Farmácia Popular. MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS: O estudo
apresenta-se como uma revisão de literatura, baseando-se em periódicos anexados
em base de dados, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde
(LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis (MEDLINE), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO), Google Acadêmico.
Entre os descritores utilizados para a pesquisa, destacam: Farmácia Popular;
Medicamentos a baixo custo; Qualidade de vida. RESULTADOS: Constatou-se que o Programa Farmácia Popular do Brasil
é uma iniciativa do Governo Federal, sendo criado com o objetivo de ampliar o
acesso da população a medicamentos que são essenciais para o tratamento de
doenças com grandes ocorrências no país. A Lei foi criada em 13 de Abril de
2004 permitindo a existência de unidades próprias de Farmácia Popular ligadas
às Secretarias de Saúde CONSIDERAÇÕES
FINAIS: A literatura constatou a importância do Programa Farmácia Popular
do Brasil, seu avanço desde a criação, contudo, mostrou também a necessidade de
melhoramento, principalmente quanto a ampliação nos medicamentos ofertados, na
organização e dispensação dos mesmos.
OBJECTIVE: To analyze through a Literature Review how
the population is having access to the Popular Pharmacy Program. MATERIALS AND
METHODS:
The study presents itself as a literature review, based on journals attached to
databases, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS),
Medical Literature Analysis (MEDLINE), Scientific Eletronic Library Online
(SciELO), Google Scholar. Among the descriptors used for the research, they
highlight: Farmácia Popular; Low-cost drugs; Quality of life. RESULTS: It was found that the
Popular Pharmacy Program in Brazil is an initiative of the Federal Government,
being created with the objective of expanding the population's access to
medicines that are essential for the treatment of diseases with major
occurrences in the country. The Law was created on April 13, 2004, allowing the
existence of its own units of Popular Pharmacy linked to the Health
Departments. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: The literature found
the importance of the Programa Farmácia Popular do Brasil, its progress since
its creation, however, it also showed the need for improvement, especially
regarding the expansion of the drugs offered, their organization and
dispensation.
