USO INADEQUADO DO METILFENIDATO EM PESSOAS SAUDÁVEIS: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

Objetivos: Compreender e
analisar os efeitos que o uso de metilfenidato causa em pessoas saudáveis bem
como investigar os benefícios e riscos da utilização desse fármaco;
Descrever os efeitos colaterais do uso de metilfenidato e conscientizar a
sociedade sobre o uso errado do fármaco metilfenidato. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, de
caráter descritivo, qualitativo, no qual foi executado o levantamento
bibliográfico de artigos científicos publicados entre os anos nos anos de 2010
a 2020 na base dados Scielo, utilizando os descritores em saúde. Resultados: Percebemos que faltam estudos
que elucidem a possibilidade do medicamento não causarem dependência, uma vez
que a droga é derivada da cocaína. Além disso, não se sabe também se, após o
tratamento medicamentoso, o paciente torna-se apto para realizar suas
atividades rotineiras com a mesma eficiência de quando em uso da droga, uma vez
que o Metilfenidato é um estimulante. Considerações
Finais: A literatura mostrou os efeitos que o uso de metilfenidato causa no
homem no decorrer de seu uso e como isso pode tornar-se um problema.
Objectives: To understand and
analyze the effects that the use of methylphenidate causes in healthy people as
well as to investigate the benefits and risks of the use of this drug; Describe
the side effects of the use of methylphenidate and make society aware of the
misuse of the drug methylphenidate. Methodology:
This is a systematic review of the literature, of a descriptive, qualitative
nature, in which the bibliographic survey of scientific articles published
between the years 2010 to 2020 was carried out in the Scielo database, using
the health descriptors. Results: We
realized that there is a lack of studies that elucidate the possibility of the
drug not causing dependence, since the drug is derived from cocaine. In
addition, it is not known whether, after drug treatment, the patient becomes
able to perform his routine activities with the same efficiency as when using
the drug, since Methylphenidate is a stimulant. Final considerations:
The literature has shown the effects that the use of methylphenidate causes in
man in the course of its use and how it can become a problem.
