Resumo:

Objetivos: Conhecer través de uma revisão de literatura a importância da auditoria na saúde, bem como a contribuição do profissional farmacêutico na auditoria hospitalar. Objetivando também, conceituar auditoria a luz dos teóricos; caracterizar as auditorias interna e externa; analisar a importância da auditoria na saúde, enfatizando a auditoria farmacêutica no ambiente hospitalar; conhecer as atribuições do farmacêutico auditor. Materiais e métodos: como metodologia a revisão de literatura na abordagem qualitativa. Para realização da pesquisa foi feito um estudo através de livros, revistas especializadas e artigos publicados nas plataformas virtuais Scielo,  Lilacs e Google Acadêmico, por meio dos descritores, conceito de auditoria; auditoria na saúde; auditoria hospitalar; farmacêutico auditor e outros. Resultados: Constatou-se que vários setores da economia passaram a utilizar a atividade da auditoria e entre eles está o setor de saúde que também se caracteriza por um modelo econômico e capitalista de otimização dos lucros. Ainda como resultados, viu-se que o País nos últimos anos, aumentou a exigência cada vez mais, sobre a atuação permanente dos profissionais auditores na área da saúde e que a participação do auditor no ambiente hospitalar tem contribuído para as mudanças ocorridas na prática de auditoria clínica. Conclusão: como integrante da auditoria clínica, a auditoria farmacêutica se deve, entre outros aspectos, a relevância que tem os medicamentos no contexto dos sistemas de saúde e o auditor farmacêutico torna-se um profissional importante neste tipo de auditoria.

Abstract:

Objectives: To know through a literature review the importance of auditing in health, as well as the contribution of the pharmaceutical professional in hospital auditing. Also aiming to conceptualize auditing in the light of theorists; characterize internal and external audits; analyze the importance of health auditing, emphasizing pharmaceutical auditing in the hospital environment; know the duties of the auditor pharmacist. Materials and methods: as a methodology the literature review in the qualitative approach. In order to carry out the research, a study was carried out through books, specialized magazines and articles published on the virtual platforms Scielo, Lilacs and Google Acadêmico, through the descriptors, concept of audit; health audit; hospital audit; auditor pharmacist and others. Results: It was found that several sectors of the economy started to use the audit activity and among them is the health sector, which is also characterized by an economic and capitalist model of profit optimization. As a result, it was seen that the country in recent years, has increased the demand more and more, about the permanent performance of the auditing professionals in the health area and that the participation of the auditor in the hospital environment has contributed to the changes occurred in the practice of clinical audit. Conclusion: as a member of the clinical audit, the pharmaceutical audit is due, among other aspects, to the relevance of medicines in the context of health systems and the pharmaceutical auditor becomes an important professional in this type of audit.
