Resumo:

RESUMO: Objetivo: identificar os fatores associados à sexualidade feminina após a maternidade. Métodos: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, onde formulou-se a seguinte questão: “Qual a percepção feminina sobre sexualidade após a maternidade?” Consultou-se as bases de dados PUBMED, BVS e CINAHL. Utilizou-se os estudos disponíveis em sua totalidade, publicados entre 2014 e 2020, nos idiomas Português, Inglês e Espanhol. Resultados: onze estudos foram incluídos nesta revisão, os quais reportaram fatores físicos, psicológicos e hormonais influenciadores da sexualidade após o parto. Dentre os quais destacaram-se: amamentação, dispareunia, percepções acerca da autoimagem e qualidade do relacionamento conjugal. Conclusão: através desta análise pode-se inferir a necessidade de investigações mais profundas sobre essa temática bem como o desenvolvimento de habilidades e competências por parte dos profissionais da saúde em vistas a promoção da saúde sexual dessas mulheres.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT: The birth of a child entails numerous and intense changes in women’s lives, a process influenced by their perceptions of motherhood and sexuality. The latter refers to a fundamental and inherent hereo f the life of each and here human being at all stages of their development. In this sense, this study aimed to identify the factors associated with female sexuality after motherhood. This is na integrative literature review, here the following question was formulated: “What is the female perception of sexuality after motherhood?” The PUBMED, BVS and CINAHL databases were consulted. We used the available studies in their entirety, published between 2014 and 2020, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Eleven studies were included in this review, which reported physical, psychological and hormonal factors influencing postpartum sexuality. Among which stood out: breastfeeding, dyspareunia, perceptions about self-image and quality of the marital relationship. Through this analysis, it is possible to infer the need for deeper investigations on this theme, as well as the development of skills and competences by health professionals with a view to promoting the sexual health of these women.
