THE RATIONAL USE OF MEDICINES IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Objetivo: Analisar o papel do farmacêutico no uso racional
de medicamentos no tratamento da covid-19, analisando quais os medicamentos
usados no tratamento e a importância do profissional na terapêutica. Metodologia: O estudo apresenta-se como
uma revisão de literatura, baseando-se em periódicos anexados em base de dados,
Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO),
Google Acadêmico, por meio dos seguintes descritores: uso racional de
medicamentos, covid- 19, o farmacêutico e a covid-19. Resultados:
Constatou-se que o uso racional de medicamentos durante a pandemia da covid-19
é essencial, trazendo benefícios para população, com mais saúde podemos
observar o uso irracional de medicamentos teve um aumento depois da pandemia,
trazendo consigo vários riscos à saúde. Considerações finais: A
literatura constatou-se a importância do uso racional de medicamentos, e os
benefícios para o paciente, e a necessidade do conhecimento de racionalizar o
uso dos medicamentos.
Objective: To analyze the role of the pharmacist in the
rational use of drugs in the treatment of covid-19, analyzing which drugs are
used in the treatment and the importance of the professional in therapy. Methodology:
The study is presented as a literature review, based on journals attached to a
database, Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Academic Google,
through the following descriptors: rational use of medications, covid- 19, the
pharmacist and covid-19. Results: It was found that the rational use of
medicines during the covid-19 pandemic is essential, bringing benefits to the
population, with healthier ones we can observe the irrational use of medicines
had an increase after the pandemic, bringing with it several health risks. Final
considerations: The literature showed the importance of the rational use of
medications, and the benefits for the patient, and the need for knowledge to
rationalize the use of medications.
