COERÊNCIA NA NOMENCLATURA DESIGNADA AO PROFISSIONAL QUE TRABALHA NA ÁREA DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA: EDUCADOR FÍSICO OU PROFISSIONAL DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA?
COHERENCE IN THE NOMENCLATURE ASSIGNED TO THE PROFESSIONAL WHO WORKS IN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION AREA: PHYSICAL EDUCATOR OR PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROFESSIONAL?

Objetivo: Compreender qual o termo correto a ser utilizado ao denominar o sujeito
que trabalha na área da educação física, se Educador Físico ou profissional de
Educação Física? Metodologia: Desse modo, para responder tal
questionamento, será realizado um apanhado na literatura, de maneira bem
criteriosa em prol de obter uma resposta plausível sobre. Para isso foi
realizada uma pesquisa sistemática através de buscas em artigos, revistas
especializadas e nacionais, disponíveis nas bases de dados, assim como sites
que se debruçaram sobre o tema no período entre 2008 e 2020. Resultados: Educador Físico foi a primeira nomenclatura utilizada para
se referir a esse profissional, mas hoje é orientado a utilização da
nomenclatura “Profissional de Educação Física” tendo em vista o fato de
abranger todos os profissionais que atuam nessa área. Portanto, ficou nítido
que esse assumir de uma nomenclatura que englobasse a todos os profissionais
dessa área, foi ocorrendo conforme a concretização da profissão e o construir
histórico desta. Considerações finais: não
existe um termo errôneo, mas existe um termo atual e que foi pensado de forma a
fortificar a profissão além de unificar e tornar concreto a existência de
tamanho profissional, merecedor de ser respeitado e de ter leis que tornem
relevante o seu agir profissional. Desse modo, entende-se que o termo
Profissional de Educação Física foi instituído como parte de um conjunto de
regras que possibilita compreender essa área como um campo profissional.
Objective: To understand the
correct term to be used when naming the subject who works in the area of
physical education, whether physical educator or physical education
professional? Methodology: Thus, to answer this question, a survey will
be carried out in the literature, in a very judicious way in order to obtain a
plausible answer about. For this, a systematic search was carried out through
searches in articles, specialized and national journals, available in the
databases, as well as sites that focused on the subject in the period between
2008 and 2020. Results: Physical Educator was the first nomenclature
used to refer to this professional, but today it is oriented to use the
nomenclature "Physical Education Professional" in view of the fact
that it covers all professionals working in this area. Therefore, it was clear
that this assume of a nomenclature that encompassed all professionals in this
area, was occurring according to the realization of the profession and the
historical building of it. Final considerations: there is no erroneous
term, but there is a current term that has been thought in such a way as to
strengthen the profession in addition to unifying and making concrete the
existence of professional size, deserving of being respected and having laws
that make relevant its professional action. Thus, it is understood that the
term Physical Education Professional was instituted as part of a set of rules
that makes it possible to understand this area as a professional field.
