Resumo:

Objetivo: Compreender e compilar informações referentes à atuação do farmacêutico frente às drogarias, visando às principais ações desempenhadas por este profissional de saúde nestes estabelecimentos. Metodologia: Para isso, foi realizada uma busca por artigos relacionados ao tema para subsidiar a revisão sistemática da literatura. A busca resultou em 20 artigos, sendo que nove foram incluídos nos resultados e 11 foram excluídos, por não abordarem diretamente o tema. Os artigos incluídos trataram do consumo de medicamento em meio a pandemia e o uso irracional de medicamentos; os cuidados farmacêuticos frente a Covid-19. Resultados: Dessa forma, observa-se o papel essencial do profissional farmacêutico durante esse período, na prestação da assistência farmacêutica, de forma a orientar e informar melhor a população sobre o uso adequado dos medicamentos e sobre os efeitos indesejáveis causados pela automedicação, evitando, assim, agravos à saúde e proporcionando maior cuidado em todos os setores da saúde. Considerações finais: A literatura constatou a importância do profissional farmacêutico durante o periodo da pandemia do Covid-19.

Abstract:

Objective: Understand and compile information regarding the performance of the pharmacist in front of drugstores, aiming at the main actions performed by this health professional in these establishments. Methodology: For this, a search for articles related to the topic was performed to support the systematic review of the literature. The search resulted in 20 articles, nine of which were included in the results and 11 were excluded, as they did not directly address the topic. The articles included dealt with drug use in the midst of a pandemic and the irrational use of drugs; pharmaceutical care against Covid-19. Results: Thus, it is observed the essential role of the pharmacist during this period, in the provision of pharmaceutical care, in order to guide and better inform the population about the proper use of medicines and about the undesirable effects caused by self-medication, avoiding, thus, health problems and providing greater care in all health sectors. Final considerations: The literature verified the importance of the pharmacist during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.
