Resumo: Objetivo: Descrever a partir da literatura as evidências científicas sobre as Abordagem  das características da violência obstétrica no âmbito hospitalar. Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa de Literatura (RIL). dados eletrônicas Latino-Americano e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Scientific Electronic Library Oniline (SciELO), utilizando os descritores: violência obstétrica,  humanização, puérpera. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, nos moldes da revisão integrativa, com produções que utilizaram abordagem qualitativa em estudos da temática da Abordagem das características da violência obstétrica no âmbito hospitalar. Os critérios de inclusão foram artigos publicados no período de 2011 a 2020; foram descritos e agrupados 15 artigos em categorias temáticas mediante as diferentes abordagens dos estudos quanto ao Abordagem  das características da violência obstétrica no âmbito hospitalar, totalizando amostra final composta por 15 artigos através do modelo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa. Considerações Finais:  A violência descrita se configurará através da imposição de intervenções danosas à integridade física e emocional das mulheres nas instituições em que são atendidas, bem como o desrespeito a sua autonomia, como quando o profissional obstetra transformar o processo fisiológico do parto em um evento mecânico e banal.

Abstract:

Objective: To describe from the literature the scientific evidence on the Approach to the characteristics of obstetric violence in the hospital environment. It is an Integrative Literature Review (RIL). Latin American and Caribbean electronic data in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Oniline (SciELO), using the descriptors: obstetric violence, humanization, postpartum. Methodology: This is a literature review, along the lines of an integrative review, with productions that used a qualitative approach in studies on the theme of the Approach to the characteristics of obstetric violence in the hospital environment. Inclusion criteria were articles published from 2011 to 2020; 15 articles were described and grouped into thematic categories according to the different approaches of the studies regarding the approach to the characteristics of obstetric violence in the hospital environment, totaling a final sample consisting of 15 articles through the descriptive model with a qualitative approach. Final Considerations: The violence described will be configured through the imposition of harmful interventions to the physical and emotional integrity of women in the institutions where they are attended, as well as the disrespect for their autonomy, such as when the obstetrician transforms the physiological process of childbirth into an event mechanical and banal.
