Objetivo: Descrever as intervenções e estratégias do
enfermeiro na gestão da segurança do paciente no centro cirúrgico,
proporcionando segurança ao paciente. Método: O buscado estudo aconteceu no período de março à maio de 2021, pelo
acesso online da BVS-Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde onde seguiu-se o seguinte
objetivo de descrever as atuações e intervenções dos enfermeiros na gestão do
cuidado visando à segurança do paciente no centro cirúrgico. Os critérios de
inclusão do estudo tiveram como base MEDLINE, LILACS e a biblioteca Scientific Eletronic Library Online (Scielo) e BVS. Já os
critérios de exclusão do estudo foram a revisão de literatura, trabalhos inglês
e textos incompletos. Com relação ao objetivo da atuação, intervenções e
cuidados da enfermagem no centro cirúrgico descreveu-se um roteiro
semi-estruturado que foi seguido para realização do processamento da coleta de
dados. Resultados: O estudo
iniciou-se no cadastro do DESC (Descritores em Ciências da Saúde) com
levantamento da atuação, intervenções, cuidados de enfermagem and segurança e
as dificuldades dos enfermeiros na gestão do cuidado visando à segurança do
paciente no centro cirúrgico. Conclusão: conclui-se, portanto,
que a temática desse
estudo é de grande relevância, pois traz dados e discussões em torno da
importância da segurança do paciente no centro cirúrgico e das dificuldades
encontras pelos enfermeiros neste cenário. Espera-se também que esta
pesquisa contribuem com ações gerenciais de controle e melhoria contínua da
qualidade do cuidado cirúrgico frente às dificuldades detectadas, agregando
conhecimento à prática profissional em saúde. A identificação de lacunas na
comunicação nesta pesquisa pode espelhar outras realidades assistenciais e,
deste modo, estimular a educação continuada no tema, tanto na graduação dos
cursos em saúde, como na realidade profissional, visando o reconhecimento de
sua relevância e seu desenvolvimento para a construção da cultura de segurança
do paciente no centro cirúrgico.
Objective: To describe the interventions and strategies of nurses in managing
patient safety in the operating room, providing patient safety. Method: The sought-after
study took place from March to May 2021, through the online access of the
VHL-Virtual Health Library, where the following objective was followed to
describe the actions and interventions of nurses in the management of care
aimed at patient safety in the surgery Center. The study inclusion criteria
were based on MEDLINE, LILACS and the Scientific Electronic Library Online
(Scielo) and BVS. The exclusion criteria for the study were literature review,
English works and incomplete texts. Regarding the objective of the performance,
interventions and care of nursing in the operating room, a semi-structured script
was described, which was followed to carry out the processing of data
collection. Results: The study began with the DESC register (Descriptors in Health Sciences)
with a survey of performance, interventions, nursing care and safety and the
difficulties of nurses in care management aimed at patient safety in the
operating room. Conclusion: it is concluded, therefore, that the theme of this study is of great
relevance, as it brings data and discussions about the importance of patient
safety in the operating room and the difficulties faced by nurses in this
scenario. It is also expected that this research contributes with managerial
actions to control and continuously improve the quality of surgical care in the
face of detected difficulties, adding knowledge to professional health
practice. The identification of gaps in communication in this research can
mirror other care realities and, thus, stimulate continuing education on the
subject, both in undergraduate health courses and in professional reality, aiming
to recognize its relevance and its development for the construction of patient
safety culture in the operating room.
