Resumo:

Objetivo: Refletir sobre a cobertura vacinal infantil em meio a pandemia Covid-19. Mediante a identificação de possíveis impactos, descrição dos fatores relacionados à saúde da criança e atuação da equipe de enfermagem nas ações educativas e administrativas. Método: Pesquisa de caráter teórico reflexivo sobre a cobertura vacinal infantil associado a pandemia Covid-19 a partir da análise de pesquisas bibliográficas, sendo os artigos científicos com publicação nos últimos 5 anos; documentos do sistema de saúde sobre o tema e dados do SI-PNI-DATASUS. Resultados: Observou-se uma queda na cobertura vacinal nos últimos 5 anos, vários aspectos são levados em consideração, como a organização do programa nacional de imunização, o atual calendário infantil estabelecido e a representatividade da equipe de enfermagem nas salas de vacina. Conclusão: Acredita-se que o medo em frequentar os estabelecimentos de saúde devido a pandemia, a falta de conhecimento sobre os imunobiológicos, notícias falsas, e falta de comunicação entre os profissionais de saúde e usuários do sistema são uns dos pontos a se destacar. Houve atrasos no calendário infantil e isso reflete-se na necessidade de mudanças nesse contexto para um desenvolvimento saudável durante a infância.

Abstract:

Objective: To reflect on children's vaccination coverage in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the identification of possible impacts, description of factors related to child health and performance of the nursing team in educational and administrative actions. Method: Research of theoretical reflective character on childhood vaccination coverage associated with the Covid-19 pandemic from the analysis of bibliographic research, being the scientific articles with publication in the last 5 years; documents of the health system on the theme and data from SI-PNI-DATASUS. Results: It was observed a drop in vaccination coverage in the last 5 years, several aspects are taken into consideration, such as the organization of the national immunization program, the current child calendar established and the representative of the nursing team in vaccine rooms. Conclusion: It is believed that the fear of going to health facilities due to the pandemic, the lack of knowledge about immunobiologicals, false news, and lack of communication between health professionals and users of the system are some of the points to be highlighted. There were delays in the children's calendar and this reflects the need for changes in this context for a healthy development during childhood.
