MÍDIAS SOCIAIS E A PRÁTICA DO EXERCÍCIO FÍSICO : A COMPREENSÃO DO PROFISSIONAL DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA SOBRE A INFLUÊNCIA DAS MÍDIAS SOCIAIS NA PRÁTICA DO EXERCÍCIO FÍSICO
SOCIAL MEDIA AND PHYSICAL EXERCISE PRACTICE: THE COMPREHENSION OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON PHYSICAL EXERCISE PRACTICE
Objective: Comprise how the influence of social media occurs in the practice of physical exercise, pointing out the physical education professional's view on the use of that instrument. Methodology: The research is characterized by a review bibliographic of exploratory and descriptive character. Data collection was performed from: published articles, monographs, journals referring to the study area in the last ten years. Articles in Portuguese were included. As exclusion criteria, articles, monographs older than ten years and in other languages were excluded. Results: According to studies carried out, social media can harm people in relation to the false information that is disseminated, however, it can also help people to get out of a sedentary lifestyle in search of a better quality of life. Final Considerations: In the survey, it can be noted that social media do in fact greatly influence its users and it is concluded that the presence of physical education professionals within social networks is essential so that people can become aware of the practice of physical exercises guided by a qualified person.
